The 8-credit blended Arabic will feature a combination of Modern Standard and Colloquial Arabic.

All levels of Arabic will be available: 101, 102, 201, 202, 301, 302 and 401.

This 3-credit Colloquial Arabic course offers the option of either Colloquial Moroccan or Jordanian Arabic. Courses will be taught with staff who are native speakers of the respective dialects.

These 3-credit Media Arabic courses are designed to help students read news items in different newspapers from Arab countries, listen to and understand news, and understand the role of media in shaping Arab thought.

This course is an overview of Maghrebi politics with a focus on the political dynamics and systems of post-independence Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, and Mauritania. It begins with the historical background and moves to the conditions that shape modern Maghrebi states.
