Streets filled with cheerful laughter, young souls dance in the sun,

Every day back home, I watched the city lights gleam.

Market visits in the afternoon, Bekdash ice cream in the evenings,

The days slipped by like water.

It was a journey I had dreamed about for months, every moment seemed like a blessing,

The more time I spent, the better it felt.

In the busyness of وسط البلد I collected moments I will treasure forever,

Memories I will carry wherever.

The winding streets led to new adventures,

People’s warm hospitality fueled our sense of exploration.

Days poured into weeks, and weeks into months,

I am already back but with more attachment than I can ever express … Amman - a city I will never forget.
