"Quick Weekend Trip to Tangier" by Sky Roman Valdera
Marhaba!!!!
As I am adjusting to Morocco, I decided to explore beyond Rabat and take a quick train ride to Tangier for the weekend. If Tangier were a color, it would be blue. Speaking of blue, this concept inspired me to create a collage (in blue ofc) of my weekend in Tangier. This collage creates a recap of my explorations in Tangier. My favorite part of Tangier was walking around Hafa Garden and enjoying the amazing view of the Mediterranean Sea. I also enjoyed spending hours walking around the Kasbah and shopping.
Bsalama!!

Image Description:
A collage with a lavender background. In the center, text reads “Tangier quick weekend trip” overlain on a picture of a sandy beach; the caption says “This is the Plage Municipal, the beach in Tangier. You can go for a quick swim/surf, or even just catch a view of the horses and camels”.
There is a photo of a black and white cat in front of a house, and another photo of yellow, daisy-like flowers in the sand with the caption “These are photos of a cat in front of a blue house. I thought the cat really stood out from the rest of the beauty of the house’s colors. The other photo captures the beauty of nature on the beach, aka flowers”
Another photo of a clean sunny street, with four story whitewashed buildings with light blue accents which line the street has the caption “This is the Medina in Tangier. It was really great to walk about and see all the local vendors among the beauty for the Medina”
Another photo is of a street which leads downhill and to the sandy beach. The street is lined with residential buildings and parked cars. The caption reads “This is the view of the farther beach from this road.”
Other collage elements include a blue car with a Moroccan license plate, a tagine with food inside, and a retro Maroc postage stamp.
