Djerbahood was an event on the island of Djerba, a one hour flight from Tunis, in which artists from all over the world created 250 mural paintings in the village of Erriadh. Every turn you take throughout the village presents a new work of art ranging from pop culture references like Aladdin and Squid Games, social commentary, Arabic calligraphy, and animals and florals. Many of the murals incorporate the village’s architecture, natural landscape, and objects of daily living such as mailboxes.
