"My Favorite Way to Spend a Weekend Afternoon in Rabat: The Kasbah des Oudayas" by Mallory Slucher

As I have spent my past two months in Rabat, I repeatedly find myself going to the Oudayas to spend weekend afternoons with friends, practice Arabic, and enjoy the Rabat sunshine.

The Andalusian Gardens, a park located in the Oudayas is full of seasonal flowers, fruit trees and walking paths to enjoy the view.

Inside the Oudayas, you can also visit the National Museum of Jewelry and Adornment. I loved my visit and learned so much about differences in jewelry and dress from all of the regions across Morocco.

After the garden, visit the cafe for Moroccan tea and sweets!

The cafe is my favorite place to read, journal, and take a moment to be present with my friends!

Make sure to admire all of the kitties along the way!
