"Before Quarantine" by Madina Zermeno

Much has been happening in Morocco recently amidst the COVID-19 fiasco. With the recent border restrictions and now declared state of emergency, we are now in quarantine. These are a few pictures and videos gathered from within the past 2 weeks before anything got too crazy. These are mostly cafe runs and random shenanigans with my friends throughout Rabat. We love exploring local cafes and coffee shops, and trying out local Moroccan desserts and treats. By now, I feel so much more immersed in Moroccan culture and can honestly say I feel like a local so it is super hard to have to be quarantined inside and not be able to practice my Arabic outside and in the taxis.
